How to activate the software after purchasing it?
  • After purchasing a license for one of our software products, contact us and in 1 working day we will add a license to your email and notify you.
  • After we inform you that we have added a license to your email, click the About button from the main screen.
  • Click the not licensed or the number of days remaining from the trial period.
  • Enter your email address, click the OK button and your license will activate. License activation requires an internet connection.
  • How to update the software to the latest version?

    To update the software to the latest version please do the following:

    1. If you don't have an active update subscription, you should purchase one for a period of your choice.
    2. After you have an active update subscription, please contact us and we will send you an update code.
    3. Close the software if it is opened.
    4. Click "Export DB to desktop" from the folder of the software in the Start Menu of your computer.
    5. Copy somewhere safe the VDB file that appeared on your desktop - "sklad.vdb", "fitorg.vdb" or "hotel.vdb". This is the backup of your data.
    6. Download the latest version of the software from our website and install it directly over the old one using the update code we have sent you in the installer.
    How to transfer my license and data to a new computer?

    Transferring the license to another PC requires an active support and updates subscription. If you don't have an active subscription, you can purchase one for a period of your choice from the Purchase page.

    With Cloud Backup

    If you use the cloud backup, please do the following to transfer your license and data to a new computer:

    On the old computer:

    1. Make sure you are logged in to your Vladovsoft account by clicking the Cloud button from the main screen. If you are not logged in, please log in.
    2. After you log in via the Cloud form, click the Upload button to upload your data.
    3. To deactivate your license, click the About button from the main screen and then the name of the license owner.
    4. Confirm that you want to deactivate your license. License deactivation requires an internet connection.

    On the new computer:

    1. Download the latest version of the software and install it.
    2. Launch the software and log in with username admin and password admin.
    3. Click the About button from the main screen, then not licensed or the number of days remaining from the trial period, enter your email address, click the OK button and your license will activate on the new computer. License activation requires an internet connection.
    4. After the software restarts, click the Cloud button from the main screen.
    5. Log in to your Vladovsoft account and click the Download button to download your data.

    Without Cloud Backup

    If you don't use the cloud backup, please do the following to transfer your license and data to a new computer:

    On the old computer:

    1. Close the software if it is opened.
    2. Click "Export DB to desktop" from the folder of the software in the Start menu.
    3. Copy somewhere safe the VDB file that appeared on your desktop ("sklad.vdb", "fitorg.vdb" or "hotel.vdb"). This is the backup of your data.
    4. To deactivate your license, click the About button from the main screen and then the license owner.
    5. Confirm that you want to deactivate your license. License deactivation requires an internet connection.

    On the new computer:

    1. Download the latest version of the software and install it.
    2. Launch the software and log in with username admin and password admin.
    3. Click the About button from the main screen, then not licensed or the number of days remaining from the trial period, enter your email address, click the OK button and your license will activate on the new computer. License activation requires an internet connection.
    4. After the software restarts, click the Database button from the main screen.
    5. Click the Import button from the toolbar.
    6. Select the database archive ("sklad.vdb", "fitorg.vdb" or "hotel.vdb") that you created on the old computer and click Open.
    Is the data of Sklad, Fitorg and Hotel backed up?

    The best way to backup your data is to use the Cloud Backup. For it you need to have an active support and updates subscription and internet connection. Click the Cloud button from the main screen of the software and log in to your Cloud account. After each closing of the software an encrypted archive of your data will be automatically uploaded to the cloud and you will be able to easily download it on another computer in case your computer breaks or gets infected with a virus.

    Vladovsoft Sklad, Fitorg and Hotel backup their database every time you close them and store the archives from the last 10 days. You can change the folder in which the archives are stored by clicking the Settings button from the main screen and in tab Behavior select the desired folder. It's recommended this folder to be on a drive different than the system one or on an USB flash drive connected to the computer. Thus if you system hard drive fails, you will be able to restore you data from the archives stored on the other hard drive / USB flash drive. And yet, the better way to backup your data is to use the Cloud Backup described in the previous paragraph.
